Email support@bantulove.comReport someone
In the app, tap the three dots at the top right of their profile, post or chat, then Report (on a Circle post, Flag as Inappropriate). Choose a reason and send. A report also blocks both ways: you will not see each other again. In danger? Contact local police first.
Common questions
I can't sign in.
Sign in the same way you signed up: with your phone number, Google or Apple. If the SMS code doesn't arrive, check the number and tap Resend OTP, and check that your phone has signal. Still stuck? Email us from the address on your account.
How do payments and Bantu+ work?
Bantu is free. Bantu+ is an optional subscription that lifts daily limits. It is billed through Google Play, so refunds, renewals and cancellation are handled in Google Play under Subscriptions. If you paid and Bantu+ is not showing, tap Restore purchases on the Account tab; if it still does not show, email us with your Google Play order number.
How does Bantu keep me safe?
Everyone is 18 or over, checked at sign-up. Nobody sees your exact location, email, birth date or phone number. You can block or report anyone in two taps, and a report blocks both ways. Meet in public, tell a friend, and never send money to someone you have only met online.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account, then Delete account at the bottom. Or email us from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. Full details, including what is deleted and what is kept, are on the Delete your account page.
Why can't I see my Circle post any more?
Circle posts live for 24 hours and then disappear. That is the point: every day is new. Post again whenever you like.
Does Bantu work outside East Africa?
Yes. Bantu shows Africans within about 100 km of you wherever you are, nearest first. If few people are near you yet, invite friends with your personal link from the app.
